I survived the Thanksgiving holiday thanks to Nutrisystem! I remember thinking a few weeks ago, am I crazy for starting a diet just before the holidays? Well it turns out I wasn't after all. I weighed in this morning at 201.5. Yes, that's where I ended last week, but I'm ok with that. Typically I gain weight over the holidays. Considering I have been on an upward trend for a while now, this holiday season would be no different. I enjoyed my Thanksgiving meal and even leftovers on the next day. This delicious Strawberry Pretzel Salad is perfect for the holidays! This is one of 2 jello salads that I like to make and will be on our Christmas buffet this year. Enjoy!Ingredients2 cups crushed pretzels3/4 cup butter, melted3 tablespoons white sugar 1 8 ounce package cream cheese softened 1 cup white sugar1 8 ounce container cool whip, thawed2 - 3 ounce packages strawberry jello2 cups boiling water2 - 10 ounce packages frozen strawberriesDirections Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
