I was eager to try out my new doughnut pans and am quite pleased with my first batch of doughnuts. This spiced cake doughnut recipe is perfect for breakfast. It yields light, fluffy doughnuts that are full of spice and sweetness, while not being overly sweet. Don't have a doughnut pan? No worries, this recipe would work just fine for muffins.
