At Easter time, I have always made my bird’s nest cupcakes using coconut dyed with green food coloring. This year mom and I decided to to try something a little different. It’s really easy and they came out pretty cute!

Here’s What You’ll Need
Your favorite cake mix or recipe cooked according to package directions
1 tub of frosting or your favorite frosting recipe
Chow Mein noodles
Jelly beans or candy coated chocolate eggs

We used the new Pillsbury Pink Lemonade cake mix and frosting. I love the pretty pink color and you can really taste the lemonade. They are delicious!

Once you have your prepared cupcakes, all you need to do is place 3 jelly beans or candy eggs into the center of each cupcake. Next push the Chow Mein noodles gently into the frosting going around the eggs in a circular fashion, to form a nest.

Enjoy! Seriously, it’s that easy!
