Upcycled Vintage Costume Jewelry

As a girl I spent many afternoons playing with my grandmother’s jewelry. She had so many beautiful and sparkly brooches, earrings, and necklaces that I remember so vividly. I still love vintage costume jewelry and a recent trip to my favorite local junk store got me thinking about all of the different things I could do with vintage jewelry.

While in the store, I came across several bags of beautiful costume jewelry that were labeled as junk jewelry with a $5 price tag. I wish I could say that I snagged them up right then and there, but that would be incorrect…..a serious miss on my part and something I am now kicking myself over.

I’ll be popping back over to Uncle Junks tomorrow morning and hoping the bags of sparkly bobbles will be waiting for me. In the meantime, I have scoured the web for some inspiration.

  1. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love vintage too. 1928 is a favorite brand and I have several of their necklace/earring sets.

The items in your post are beautiful. I especially love the wreath and mirrors. The magnets are pretty and practical. I collect bookmarks so they caught my eye as well.
