Cinnamon Dusted, Glazed Apple Cider Doughnuts

A recipe for delicious cinnamon dusted apple cider doughnuts with a sugar glaze.

Nothing about this recipe says New Year’s resolution, and if truth be told my plans to start a diet the first of the year never came to fruition. It has been chilly outside, by Florida’s standards, and I have been feeling a bit out of sorts these last few weeks. Comfort food is what I want right now, and these Apple Cider Doughnuts certainly fit the bill. Nom. Nom. Nom.

I’m trying to not feel too terribly guilty about this doughnut recipe. These doughnuts are baked, not fried, after all. That’s totally a step in the right direction.

Baked doughnuts are incredibly simple to make, and are much healthier than the fried variety. Although, I do love a good fried doughnut every now and again.

I have shared a couple of doughnut recipes on this blog in the past, if you’d like to check them out. These Old Fashioned Baked Chocolate Doughnuts with Chocolate Glaze are oh-so delicious, and these Baked Pumpkin Pecan Doughnuts with Maple Glaze are simply wonderful. It was definitely time for me to pull out my doughnut pan again. (affiliate link)
