Most of our summer travel happens close to home so getting back into the swing of things when school starts is pretty easy!

That said, I’d love to travel around the country more! There is so much to see and do.

Traveling is in my blood, I’ve trekked close to home and all the way to Asia. Back to school time actually begins our travel season, since we homeschool we tend to travel in the off season for better rates and lower crowds!

Great tips on the Facebook Forum. We try to get the routine going a week or two before the end of summer, too.

I like that Residence Inn is doing this. We are big fans of Residence Inn – having the kitchenette and living room area in the room really does make it much easier to travel with kids.

We will be traveling as a family again in a few months, and although I’m looking forward to having a lot of fun, I know the trek itself will be hectic.

I love to travel but with two surley teenagers it makes it difficult to have fun. Any ideas on how to keep them from killing each other and driving us crazy?
