Bounce Back from Life’s Little Mishaps #BounceBack

I am being compensated by Bounce for my participation in this campaign as part of the Mom It Forward Blogger Network. Have you ever had one of those days or weeks or months when you felt like you couldn’t keep up with your life? Well that’s the way I have been feeling lately. With a lot of traveling and a heavy workload, there are many things that haven’t received my full attention of late. Don’t get me wrong. Work is good. I like to have work. Work means I get paid. But when you get really busy there are sure to be some little mishaps. For example, after my most recent trip I didn’t have time to unpack my suitcase right away. Hours turned into days and days turned into… you get the picture. On this particular trip I received some delicious goodies that I didn’t have the heart to throw away, so I tossed them into my suitcase. When I finally got around to unpacking the combination of smells from cheese popcorn, chocolate, and dirty clothes was unbearable.

BounceBack Moments

If only I had thought to toss a Bounce Dryer Sheet into my suitcase. This whole unfortunate incident could have been avoided.

Since this little incident, I have come up with some other areas that can use a little help from Bounce Dryer Sheets. This messy sock drawer, for instance. I promised not to tell whose drawer this is. Shhh…

Then there’s that closet that holds all the extra towels and sheets. It’s been smelling a little stale in there, and can definitely use a little freshening up.

Bounce Back with Bounce Dryer Sheets

I am happy to report that I am bouncing back, getting caught up, and will hopefully be able to slow down a bit to really enjoy the upcoming holiday season.

How do you #BounceBack from life’s little mishaps?

I love the idea of putting a dryer sheet into my suitcase. Then when I get to my destination it’ll smell so fresh and of course will help with the trip home with all the dirty clothes. Thanks for the ideas!

I’ve found lots of uses for bounce besides in the dryer. I put them in clothes to be stored for the season and my dad bought a car once and a squirrel had died in it and he got it cheaper because of the smell they couldn’t get out. I put a couple of bounce sheets under the seats and presto the smell was gone. It is great for drying clothes too!

Growing up my grandparents used Bounce and I always loved that smell. So now, I buy it exclusively too. I get the big box from Costco. After laundry is done I put the sheet in my drawer for a few days too ;)

I hadn’t ever thought of putting a dryer sheet in my suitcase…. I will have to do that next time I go on a trip!

I always leave Bounce dryer sheets around the house to freshen things up. In my drawers, in my space saver bags when I put winter clothes away, in suitcases, beach bags, etc… I love it.

My husband and I take a lot of long trips, so I always put fabric softener sheets in our suitcases to keep everything fresh-smelling. I put them inside our shoes, too.

Such great ideas! I am allergic to dryer sheets so I have to be careful where I put them. I like to put them inside of the coat closet to keep it fresh.

Oh man, you know what I did? I pulled the cheesey popcorn and chocolate out of my suitcase so I could stuff my face with it…but I just left the dirty clothes in there and didn’t unpack it for several days, just left it on the living room floor because I didn’t have time to deal with it. So, I really feel you on this, LOL!! The dryer sheet idea is a great one, I hadn’t thought to use them that way before. I love the way Bounce smells.

I knew you would understand, Beeb! Should I confess that I ate the cheesy popcorn and chocolates after it sat in my suitcase for so long?

I should really start using Bounce around my house. I’ve only been using it for laundry, but it makes sense that it will help you freshen up other areas of the home.

I love this idea. I need some in my bathroom. It gets a little musty in there. My linen closet could use one also. The towels are all clean, yet it still starts to smell stale.

I love the fresh smell of Bounce. I put a sheet in the girls cheer bags. Even though cheerleaders claim to sparkle, not sweat, those bags can get a little ripe. My son’s closet is a good place too. The girls say it has a foot odor. Gotta love brutally honest sisters.

I put bounce sheets in the bottom of my trash cans in the bathroom and kitchen. I also put them in the containers with my Christmas stuff.

Oh, I love that sock drawer. Seriously, though, does ANYONE have a neatly organized sock drawer? Is that even possible? :)

I use Bounce sheets stored with my out of season shoes and sports equipment. They work absolute wonders for keeping them smelling fresh and clean.

I never thought to put bounce into my suitcase when I travel. What a great idea. Because I have been there too many times when my clothes sit there for a while.

I love Bounce dryer sheets – we use them all over the house and even in the car to freshen the spaces. We use it in the trash cans, under the seats in the car, etc. LOVE them!
