With the release of Finding Dory, in theaters this weekend, kids everywhere are in a fish fever (I have to admit that I am pretty excited myself). We fell in love with Nemo, Dory, Marlin and a host of other characters for the first time 13 years ago! Can you believe it has been that long? Last May, while at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, I was fortunate to catch an early screening of the first 31 minutes of Finding Dory. The movie totally captured my heart and I know it will yours too. I am so eager to see the rest of the movie this weekend! This post contains some affiliate links.
I have a super fun way you can treat your kids to a fun Dory/Ocean themed gift. Your kids are sure to love taking a bath with this super fun and easy-to-make Finding Dory bath soap. I’m excited to show you how to make them! Grab these 4 items and lets “Dive in”!
Ocean Friends & Finding Dory Bath Soap
Supplies Needed:
Glycerin Soap
Essential Oil
Coral Reef Toob
Silicone Mold
Directions:
Place 1 ocean animal from your toob into each mold.
Cube 1 lb. of glycerin soap into 1” x1 “ cubes.
Place in a saucepan over medium low heat, stir frequently until completely melted.
If you prefer you can melt soap in microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time.
Remove from heat and stir in essential oil 8-10 drops.
You can add a drop or two of blue food coloring if you like to tint the soap at this point.
Pour melted soap base carefully into each mold form, covering the ocean toys completely.
Allow soap to cool/set completely before removing carefully from the mold- 4-5 hours.
When not in use place you soap where it can drain and dry out between uses, to make it last longer keep it from soaking in the tub water.
