Leave the Cold Behind and Visit Puerto Rico {Sweepstakes}

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Puerto Rico, The All-Star Island for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Brrr! It's cold outside. I really do love this time of the year, and all the festivities that come with the holiday season. Eventually though (usually around mid February) I will tire of bundling up in layers of clothes, scarves and gloves in an attempt to stay warm. I will be dreaming of leaving the cold behind and visiting some place tropical and warm like Puerto Rico. After all, the new year is just days away so it's time to start thinking about 2014 travel destinations. 2014 would be a great year to visit Puerto Rico!

    I liked SeePuertoRico on Facebook. I am interested in everything! I particularly to walk thru town and experience life from the street. I want to experience bio-luminescence. And food! I want to try all types of food. Plus, I want to speak nothing but Spanish so I can keep those skilled honed (although I understand most of the people speak English).

    I would LOVE to go to Puerto Rico and stay at the Parador MaunaCaribe. While in Toro Verde I would most definitely go Zip Lining on La Bestia. It’s been one of the items in my bucket list. I’d also love to give a try at Rapelling while there. I love the beach, so I would spend plenty of time walking on the beach, wading in the water, soaking in the rays, and sipping fine, local rum cocktails. Adventure and relaxation. Can’t get much better than that! And to know that I don’t even need a Passport nor to worry about currency exchange – I am SO there! Think I found the best birthday gift for myself!

    As an avid horse lover, horseback riding the Camuy caverns would be an experience of a lifetime. I would love traversing the rainforest and viewing spectacular waterfalls and the beautiful sandy beaches. The Bioluminescent bays sound every bit as magical as all the beauty Puerto Rico has to offer!

    I vacationed in Puerto Rico a few years ago and would absolutely love to go again. I recommend it to everybody. It was absolutely beautiful. I loved walking along the beach. Eating the local food. It was delicious. And walking around night and day. Old San Juan was nice with cobblestone streets. The local bus was way cheap and great transportation instead of paying for a taxi. I would just love to go again. I have always said I wanted to! 2014 would be great!

He said he felt the risk of the jellyfish was worth it to experience the magical light show that he was creating with his movement in the water.
