Sweet Citrus Mint Iced Tea Recipe

Here in the south we drink our fair share of sweet iced tea. I ‘might’ just drink it every day. The weather has been glorious these past few weeks. I’m really starting to believe that summer is near.

One a warm day like today, there is nothing nicer than enjoying the outdoors and drinking a glass of refreshing sweet citrus mint iced tea. I’m participating in the Embrace Your Taste with Equal® campaign, and am excited to share my citrus mint iced tea recipe with you. This is a sponsored post, all opinions are my own.

Oranges, lemons, limes and mint upgrade this southern classic. Citrus is available just about any time of the year, but is so plentiful and perfectly sweet in the spring and summer months. Adding some freshly squeezed citrus juice to my iced tea is something I simply cannot resist. The tartness of the citrus is perfectly balanced by some fresh mint that is steeped with the tea bags.

You might be thinking that drinking sweet tea every day might not be such a good idea, but I have a secret ingredient that lessons my sugar intake and allows me to enjoy a glass of sweet iced tea without the guilt. Sweeten your iced tea with Equal® – 0-calorie sweetener for a refreshing twist!

Equal® 0-calorie Sweetener is a great option for people, especially those living with diabetes, who want to replace or reduce sugar intake and keep their blood glucose levels in check.

Sweet Citrus Iced Tea with Equal

I don’t like my tea overly sweet. My citrus mint iced tea recipe uses 8 packets of Equal® 0-calorie sweetener. It’s just the right amount of sweetness for me, but my mom would say that it needs a little more. This problem is easily solved by having some addition packets of Equal® on hand.

Equal® is a great-tasting, sugar alternative that adds just the right amount of sweetness and flavor, and can be used as a part of your “daily beverage ritual” in coffee or tea.
