Cracker Barrel is one of those restaurants that my family will never grow tired of. The warm and inviting ambiance, fresh made food, and the Old Country Store keep us coming back. My family has been there countless times and I still get excited when one of the kids says that’s where they want to eat. Cracker Barrel is the first stop of the morning whenever my mom and I embark on one of our marathon shopping days. Here are just a few of the things that keep us going back to Cracker Barrel:
Ambiance. The rocking chairs that line the restaurant’s front porch are so inviting. You simply can’t resist sitting and rocking for a spell. The rustic decor and big stone fireplace inside the restaurant make you feel like you’ve taken a trip back in time. It feels like home.
Fresh Made Food. Delicious, old-fashioned Southern cooking is what you can expect. I love that the breakfast menu is available all day, and I always order the Old Timer Breakfast with a big helping of hash brown casserole. One of my girls loves the Chicken and Dumplings while the other enjoys the veggie plate. There are so many awesome veggies and sides to choose from.
Cracker Barrel’s Retail Store. Every Cracker Barrel restaurant has an Old Country Store where you will find old fashioned goodies, toys, clothing, accessories and items for the home. So many great products! I have purchased my fair share of clothing and accessories from Cracker Barrel. They always have such a lovely selection of scarves.
My gang will be going back to Cracker Barrel for dinner tonight! I’m looking forward to it. Be sure to follow @aboutamom on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for all the delicious #cboldcountrystore fun!
What keeps you going back to Cracker Barrel and The Old Country Store?

We especially love to eat at Cracker Barrel when we are traveling. Even when your out of town, it kind of feels a little bit like home.

I have only eaten at Cracker Barrel once for breakfast, and I loved the food and coffee and the restaurant is so pretty and nice to eat in. I want to go back!!
I haven’t ever been to cracker barrel. I don’t believe we even have them in Canada, at least not where I’m living but I’ve heard lots about it. Sounds wonderful. I would love to visit next time I’ve over the border.
You know, I have never eaten there, but I go there every Christmas to buy new holiday items. They stock some pretty cool stuff!
Ive never been to a cracker barrel, not even sure where one is. I’ll have to check it out soon!

My kids make sure we stop here on a road trip. We just moved and we are very close to an interstate exit with a Cracker Barrel. So I guess we will visit more often.
