Maddie’s 11th birthday party was last Saturday and it was her best party to date, in part thanks to ShinDigz who sponsored her party supplies. Maddie chose the Party Pups theme from the vast collection of party supplies on the ShinDigz web site. You can read more about our party planning here.
All of the party decorations from ShinDigz were just beautiful. The custom birthday banner was much larger and more sturdy than I had imagined. Our Party Pups paper products held up to a house full of hungry cheerleaders and one of the biggest hits of the party were the Personalize Milk Chocolate Lollipops that each girl got to take home. I love how everything coordinated so perfectly, from the tablecloth to the decorations and paper goods. Maddie selected a special Party Pups birthday candle, so I had to make her a matching cake. I think it turned out pretty good, thanks to the help of my mom.
My sister-in-law held cheer leading practice at their house on Saturday morning. All of the girls stayed after for the party, so it was a full house. There were a lot of rock stars in the house, as they all gathered around the television to play guitar hero. It was fun to hear the girls belting out songs from my generation like Joan Jett’s “I Love Rock and Roll”.
