A Fun Girls Game Night with Mommy Tonic {Giveaway}

Game night with the girls is something I always look forward to. Sometimes we have quite a few of the ladies over, but often it’s a mom and daughter kind of night including me and my mom, Laura, along with my sister-in-law Chrishelle and her mom, Debbie. The four of us always have so much fun together. We enjoy playing card games, sharing a bottle of wine, swapping gossip, and catching up on what’s happening in each others lives. Last weekend we had a a super fun girls game nigh with Mommy Tonic – a new bubbly conversation card game.

Our game night included some yummy snacks like leftover birthday cupcakes, chips, and of course a fabulous bottle of wine. It doesn’t take much to make these girls happy! Thanks to Mommy Tonic we did a whole lot of talking and laughing. I couldn’t believe how quickly it got late, time really flew by that evening while we were having fun.

What we enjoyed so much about Mommy Tonic is that it’s not your typical card game. Rather, it’s a conversation starter that gets you gabbing about guilty pleasures, hopes, fears, advice, and more. One card might have you giving an impromptu toast for someone else in the room, while another will have you sharing your secret fantasies. It’s basically an ice breaker type of game. We played “Every Mom” version of the game, but there are other editions that include Working Mom, New Mom and Empty Nester.

While playing the game, I was asked how important birthdays really are to me. It was a fitting question since it was my birthday week, and I had been begging everyone to not make a fuss over it. The card made me honest, and I had to confess that I truly do enjoy when everyone makes a fuss over me.  Another of my favorite cards asked if a major Hollywood studio were making a movie about your life, who would you want to play your part? My first thought was Meryl Streep, then Diane Lane, and then Jennifer Connelly. Do you notice how the actresses kept getting younger? Which actress would portray you in a movie?
