Becoming a new mom can be daunting. When it comes to the decisions you make for your baby, everyone seems to have an opinion. Distant relatives, your old college roommate, even complete strangers all want to weigh in on which diapers you should use, at what age you should potty train, and the gadgets you simply cannot live without. If you are doing your research online, there are plenty of “Do” and “Don’t” articles with differing opinions. While most of the advice for new moms is given with the best of intentions, it can be quite overwhelming. How do you know if you’re making the right choices for your baby?
This post is sponsored by Mirum, but opinions expressed are my own. I’m excited for this chance to share my advice for new moms, along with a money saving $3 Cash Back Ibotta Rebate Offer on Parent’s Choice™ at Walmart.
Advice for new moms.
With an adult son and a 10-year-old daughter it has been a few years since I was a new mom, but I remember those days so clearly. I did receive a lot of tips and opinions on infant care. I got a whole bunch of advice about feeding and potty training. Some of the advice I got was very useful, and some of it wasn’t. I remember the uncertainty that I felt. I think maybe that uncertainty was amplified, because I was such a young mom and lacked a lot of the self confidence that I have now. The older and wiser me has some advice to share with new moms and it is very simple really.
Trust in yourself.
There is no one size fits all when it comes to motherhood. We are all different women with different babies. We will have different experiences. Listen to all of the advice, but then make choices that are right for you and your baby.
Make the choice that is right for YOU and YOUR baby.
Follow your own personal style and feel good about it. I promise you, there is no such thing as perfect parenting. Just do your very best, and do it with love. That’s all we can really do as parents.
Parent’s Choice™ formula
One of the most controversial aspects of motherhood is feeding. Formula or breast milk? If you choose breastfeeding, for how long? Which is the best formula for your baby? I personally nursed for several months, and then switched to formula. There are a lot of strong opinions when it comes to feeding babies. Don’t let yourself get caught up in all of that. Make the choice that is right for you and your baby.
And, if you’re choosing formula you should know that there is a formula available that is affordable and meets all of your babies nutritional needs. Parent’s Choice™ formula – exclusively available at Walmart – is an excellent formula choice for new moms and their babies. It is a formula you can feel good about. In fact, Parent’s Choice™ was named 2018’s best baby formula by Baby Bargains.
About Parent’s Choice™ formulas
Parent’s Choice™ has two Infant Formulas featuring 2’-FL HMO that are exclusively sold in Walmart stores – Parent’s Choice™ Sensitivity® Infant Formula and Parent’s Choice™ Advantage® Infant Formula.
