This is a partnered post with Family Dollar to share back to school breakfast and lunch solutions.
The lazy days of summer have ended, and are now replace with the hustle and bustle of the school year. Carpooling, checking homework, signing permission slips, packing healthy school lunches and getting everyone out the door on time with a full belly is a LOT of work! In our latest post on the Family Dollar Blog, Laura and I share some of the back to school breakfast and lunch solutions we found by visiting our local Family Dollar store.
We found some great back to school lunch ideas, along with a variety of lunch boxes, ice packs, and sandwich keepers. The Family Dollar grocery aisles and freezer section have everything you need for a quick family breakfast and healthy school lunches that your child will eat.
One of the solutions we have come up with is to create a grab-and-go breakfast station, with foods that the kid can help themselves to. The same idea can be used to make a back to school lunch station where you keep a variety of foods, snacks, and drinks for your child’s lunch box. Having easy access to everything in one basket or on one shelf in the pantry will save you time.
Head on over to the Family Dollar Blog and check out all of our back to school breakfast and lunch ideas!
We have a $25 Family Dollar gift card to give away to one lucky About A Mom reader. Giveaway is open to U.S. readers and ends on August 31, 2014 at 11:59pm ET. Good luck!

My children’s play room is really disorganized, so I would use the gift card to bus some storage totes so I can organize their toys
A great breakfast tip is to make lots of pancakes & waffles during the weekend so you can microwave them on weekdays for breakfast
