Back to School with P.S. from Aeropostale

We still have some beautiful summer sun to soak in, but back to school starts here next week! As the kids get older, they are becoming very opinionated about what they wear. Not too long ago I was able to look at something and just know one of my granddaughters would like it, but that’s not the case anymore. I wouldn’t dare make that sort of assumption these days, except for that we are sure to find lots of great back to school fashions at P.S. from Aeropostale. Maddie loves just about everything in that store.

As P.S. from Aeropostale VIP Blog Ambassadors, my daughter Angela and I were provided with a gift card to aid in this review. As always, opinions expressed are our own. We genuinely love all the great clothes for kids at P.S. from Aeropostale!

P.S. from Aeropostale Community Board

We do a lot of our shopping online at ps4u.com, but recently dropped in at our nearby P.S. from Aeropostale store in Augusta to check out the new community board. Angela and I literally squealed with excitement when we saw our blog, About A Mom, listed up on the board. The community boards are a brand new feature in all P.S. from Aeropostale stores across the U.S. Each month the board will feature a different craft for the month, two ways to wear the same product, and collection inspiration along with a quote of the month! There will also be some upcoming features of the VIP Blog Ambassadors, and we are super excited about that.

Take  a look at some of the fashions Maddie picked out for back to school!

dark wash core jeggings (regular)

Maddie has so many pairs of these jeggings. They are a perfect fit for her. She likes the comfort and ease of movement she has in them. These jeggings are perfect for active girls.

This dress is beautiful by itself, but I really like the added bit of bling from the glitter skinny belt.

For a completely different look, remove the belt and add this simple cropped cardigan.

The P.S. from Aeropostale graphic t-shirts are a staple of Maddie’s back to school wardrobe.

Remember the collection inspiration that I mentioned earlier? Here’s a sneak peek at the upcoming collection inspiration “raise the barre” that will be up on community boards later this month.

Girls InsiprationWe came up with our own dance inspired look, and added a touch of bling with a bag – just like the inspiration look.

This t-shirt inspired Maddie to get a little silly and show off her dance moves. I couldn’t resist sharing these, although she is probably not going to be very happy with me for doing so.

  • I’ve always loved aeropostale growing up. I wish they had this P.S. line when I was even younger. The thing I love the most is that it doesn’t have the aero logo thrown all over it and the pieces are so cute!

  • What great outfits and I know my daughters would love the styles they offer. While my kids are required to wear uniforms to school, we still need items to wear during breaks, holidays and weekends.

  • My youngest loooves this store- she doesn’t feel ‘babyish’ but the clothes are still mostly age-appropriate. My older girl is so mad she doesn’t fit in PS clothes anymore! I am, too- most of the tween girl clothes really aren’t decent for someone that young.
