December is a month of holiday cheer, but it’s also a month of reflection as the year is coming to a close. I am looking forward to taking some needed time off later this month to think about what I have done this past year, both professionally and personally, and to form a plan of action for next year. Food has become a big part of this blog, as more and more of my favorite family recipes have been making an appearance. We’ve definitely shared more recipes in 2013 than ever before. I thought it would be fun to take a little trip down memory lane and take a look at the best of 2013 – the top recipes on About a Mom from this year.
Dessert recipes are always wildly popular, but I have been happy to discover that casserole recipes are still very sought after. I have always made a lot of casserole dinners for my family, but have moved away from the cream of soup recipes of the past to using more fresh ingredients. It seems that many of you are doing the same.
One of my greatest joys is getting an email or a comment from a reader to let me know that you enjoyed one of my recipes. I love hearing how you swapped out some of the ingredients to and adapt the recipe to suit your own family. It always gives me ideas for the next time I prepare the dish myself.
Which one of these recipes is your favorite?
