With 2 dogs, my two nieces, and nephew tracking through the house all the time my carpets seem to stay dirty. Here in Georgia, instead of dirt we have orange clay. When that clay gets wet, things get messy real fast. When one of the kids has a spill on the carpet it’s such a hassle pulling out my full size carpet cleaner, so I usually end up on hands and knees scrubbing the floor. I was tickled to have a chance to try out the Bissell SpotBot Pet Deep Cleaner. While our pets provide many messes to clean up, I have quickly learned that the SpotBot isn’t just for pet messes… it’s handy for cleaning up any type of spill on the carpet.
Winston is happy about his new Bissell SpotBot Deep Cleaner!
Lilly too… she loves having clean floors!
My favorite area rug, in our living room, seems to get the most of the dirty messes. It also happens to be the favorite rug of our dogs… whenever they have a tummy ache or an accident in the middle of the night, it seems to end up on this carpet. Did I mention yet how much I despise having to lug out the full size carpet cleaner? Well I just have to give a huge thanks to Bissell for sending me the SpotBot. I am in love with how portable, easy to use, and effective it is.
My Bissell SpotBot in action.
The Bissell SpotBot is small, easy to use, and does the job almost completely by itself!. My SpotBot came with two sample size bottles of solution: Oxy Gen2 and 2X Pet Stain and Odor Formula. It also came with a separate hand held stain tool attachment. It was super easy to use the SpotBot right out of the box. You simply filled the tank with hot tap water and some of the solution, place the tank back on the machine, place the SpotBot over the stain, select your mode, and pushed a button. There are a couple of different settings available, depending on whether it’s a surface stain or deeper. Most of the time, I can get by using the setting for a surface stain which only takes 3 minutes. I honestly don’t know how I ever survived without a hands free spot and stain cleaner before.
This is a before and after shot. On the right, the carpet is still wet, but perfectly clean.
With the SpotBot Pet Deep Cleaner, you can deep clean spots from the bottom up, removing up to 99% of orders and bacteria that may also come with stains, when used with water and the Pet Stain & Oder Formula together. I’ve found that I can fill the tank once and get several cleanings out of it. It’s very easy to pick up the SpotBot and store it away for the next use.
Imagine… one of the guests at your holiday party spills red wine on your carpet. Do you panic? Not if you have the SpotBot Deep Cleaner. This trusty sidekick is all you need to tackle spots and stains as they happen, or even before and after hosting company. The Bissell SpotBot Pet Deep Cleaner is worth every penny of the $149.99 suggested retail price. There are also a variety of solutions and accessories available, that make it easier for you to clean hard to reach places like stairs and upholstery. You can even use it on the carpet and upholstery in your car.

What a cool product! I’m going to tell my sister about this, for her cat.

I received one of these for Christmas last year, and I love it! I only wish it came with more cleaning solution in the box!

I have a Bissell Little Green and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It works great at getting out stains and has been a couch saver while potty training my toddler.
Love the hands free spot cleaner – would definitely come in handy.

We could really use of these! And Lily is ADORABLE! She looks like my bichon mix, what type is she?
Thanks! The dog in the top pic is Winston and he is a Bichon. Lilly (resting her head on the box) is a Poodle/Terrier mix.
Ah, the practical one! 🙂 No, this sounds perfect, should have thought of something like this myself. Now to add it to my shopping list…! 😛 [You’re little dog’s a cutie, by the way!]
I so could use one of these since most of our home is carpet and I have 4 messy cats and a messy boyfriend!
I like your last little add-on about using it out in the car! The smaller size would make that feasible!
No pets in our household but with 3 active little ones and a husband – this would come in super handy. I’m pulling out my full-sized cleaner on a regular basis. I’ve priced these in the past and seems that the prices have come down over the past year or so. Definitely something to look into in the very near future. Thanks for the great review.
