Living out in the country, it is always such a treat when we go into the city and drop by a coffee shop. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen nearly as often as I would like. I love a good cappuccino or latte any time of the day or night, and was thrilled when the folks from Café Escapes asked me to try out their Café Escapes K-Cups. They sent me some variety packs, along with a Keurig brewer to facilitate my review.
A Sweet Escape!
The wonderful variety of Café Escapes K-Cups has brought the coffee shop experience right into my kitchen. Café Escapes collection of beverages includes mochas, spicy chai and two brand new flavors: Café Caramel and Café Vanilla – all well under 100 calories. As someone who is desperately trying to cut back on calories and fat, let me emphasize that they are under well 100 calories!
Much to the delight of my family Café Escapes also offers up a hot cup of milk or dark cocoa. It’s a sweet escape also under 100 calories, although the kids couldn’t care less about the calories. My mother’s thrilled over the spicy chai.
I have to say that these coffees and hot cocoas are super rich, creamy and satisfying. Being able to indulge like this at home is such a delight, and is much easier on my pocket book than making a visit to the coffee shop. I really thought the cafe mocha would be my favorite, but I am enjoying the cafe caramel the most.
Café Escapes is a fabulous an anytime indulgence!
The best cup of coffee is on a weekend morning, when there’s no rush and there’s time to really enjoy it.
In the morning when I relax before my day starts or on a cold day.
I don’t have a Keurig so I drink my nice hot cup of folgers instant coffee in the morning. Once or maybe twice a week I go to Starbucks and get a frappachino. My daughter has a Keurig so I know she’d enjoy trying these. You’re so lucky they sent you a Keurig. Thank you for the cool giveaway 🙂
I like to have a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and one with lunch. Thanks for the chance.
I love coffee all day long
