Amidst all of the holiday parties, baking of cookies and gift giving, I want to take a moment to talk about what matters most this holiday season and that is family.
My family has grown and evolved much over the years. What was once a small family gathering on Christmas morning has grown to include children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, girlfriends and boyfriends. These days it takes a village to raise a child, and my family is the perfect example of this.
It takes a lot of food to feed my large extended family, and opening gifts on Christmas morning lingers into afternoon. But I wouldn’t change a thing. I am so blessed to be a part of this group of people. Everyone is welcome and they are all family.
Our family traditions are like most. We bake holiday cookies together, hand out stockings on Christmas Eve, and exchange gifts on Christmas morning. This year we started a tradition of matching holiday jammies. We have even more family members, than pictured below, who will be joining us in this holiday on Christmas Eve.
Whether you have a family of two or a big family like mine, it’s all the same. Family is what matters most, and the makers of TYLENOL® know this better than anyone. For more than 60 years TYLENOL® has been helping to care for families. This year, to celebrate the holidays, they’re putting a new spin on the classic Rockwell painting “Freedom From Want” in this video. It may make you rethink what matters to you.
This touching video helps illustrate how modern families come together to celebrate what matters most during the holidays. Family matters most no matter the dynamic or makeup of your family.
Take a moment to share what matters in your life. You can do it by sharing and pinning the image below, along with a few words about what matters most to you this holiday season. #ForWhatMattersMost

My family definitely matters most. They are everything to me and I try to make sure they always know it.
My husband and children matter the most to me this season, and always. Nothing is more important then their happiness and well being.
I completely agree. Family is the most important. I love the family Christmas PJ idea..I’ve been wanting to do this for a few years now, but it’s hard to find jammies for all of us that don’t cost a ton!
Such lovely family photos, and I love the family pajamas.
Your family is so beautiful, i love the picture where you guys are in your pajamas. We should get matching pjs here!
Such a great post and just by reading, it brought tears to my eyes thinking about what matters to me. I would be lost without my daughter, husband and mom. They mean the world to me and I can’t imagine life without them. My dad passed away when I was 8 so my mom is my super hero.
You have a very beautiful family. I love the idea of making it a tradition for matching jammies. I would love to get matching jammies for our family for Christmas Day, although I don’t know if my autistic son would be willing to wear them.
I can’t wait to spend some time with my family. We often bake cookies together too!
Family is definitely what matters the most to us . It is nice to just spend time together and not have to worry about all the normal daily business.
What a beautiful picture, love the matching pjs! You guys are so great! I love the family love 🙂
Family is really what’s important for Christmas. Nothing beats that! 🙂
Wow! That video was amazing!!! I was going to say that I loved the “hot pot” family, but then it kept going and I loved the other families just as much. If Norman Rockwell was still with us and painting today, I wonder what his portraits would look like?
I love my family so much and am so grateful and blessed! I thank God for them! Your family seems so darling. I love the jammies!! 🙂
Cute jammies! I don’t know what to do when I’m in a large group of people, I find it uncomfortable. I’m an only child, grew up on a farm so I’m much better with animals than people. Anyway, it is interesting to see how other families get together for the holidays.
Yes, family does matter. I really make time to bond with my Mom and brother despite our busy schedules. And this Christmas, I like and I am thankful that my family is complete – the people who matter most to me. PS. I love your family photos, especially that shot with matching clothes – you guys are so cute!
Family is definitely what matters most, no two ways around it!! I love the picture with everyone wearing matching jammies. That’s awesome!!
The matching pajamas are so funny, I love them! This is a good message and I hope you have a great holiday.
My family is what’s important. Love the matching jammies
What great pictures! Family definitely matters the most!
Nice family photo – matching pj’s are great!
LOVE that matching pajamas picture of you all! How cute is that?! Family definitely matters the most!
That is so cute that you all have matching PJs. Family definitely matters the most – it’s spending time and enjoying each other’s company.
Love the matching PJ’s. Family matters most, it’s great to celebrate family everyday!
I love reading everyone’s traditions. The pajamas are definitely special for you guys!
Aww, I love your matching jammies picture! Family is so important, I love that I get to see mine more during the holiday season!
Family is definitely what matter most. I love the matching pajamas photo!
I love the pj family photo. I’ve always wanted to do that with my family. Family does matter the most at the holidays and I always make sure we take a photo every year.
You have a lovely family! I love the matching pj’s. My family is for sure most important to me!
My family seldom gets together like they used to on Christmas. Thankfully, my husband’s family always gets together on Christmas, so I always look forward to that! 🙂
The only family I have now is my husband and daughter. They are very important to me especially during the holiday season. Thank you.
Family definitely matters the most! There is nothing I look forward to then spending a full day with my entire family. Pure bliss!
You all have such a beautiful family. We have many traditions that are fun and simple that help build memories.
This is the first year without my kids, we are in Florida now. My kids are all grown and are excited to come down and visit!
So excited for all of the holiday celebration. Can’t wait to see family.
I love the matching pajamas. How fun! We have a lot of holiday traditions too. I love how the face of family has changed through the years.
I am still loving those matching PJs. Generally, family is what matters most during my holidays seasons. But, I am also big on caring for those who need help like the homeless or children who have no presents. This year though I had to really focus on taking care of myself.
Family is what matters most to my this holiday season. Hubby and I have been through some difficult times, but we stick together, function as a team and get through them.
Oh my, those Christmas PJS are awesome! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
Beautiful family and i love that you have the tradition of all wearing the same Christmas pajamas! What a cute post! Great fam!
Family is what truy matters- I think when youre young you dont much think of it. Years ago, we had 3 or 4 Thnksgivings to go to with as many Christmas’s. We would go to each parents hous, a Grandparents home and on and on. We complained sometimes because it go so hectic.
Then comes the day(s) when people start leaving …… and the places are empty and you miss theem. It happens slowly and at first you think nothing has changed until one day you look around and the empty places outnumber those that are being used.
Cherish your family times when you can things can change in the blink of an eye.
PMGosh! Those PJ’s are so cute! What a fun idea! I love that my family is healthy and active.
LOVE the family pjs. That is something we always wanted to do. Family does matter the most at the holidays. Thanks for sharing this!
The jammies are the tops. I love them.
My boys are what matters most to me! They are still young (4 and 2) so we are building new traditions every year! I love the matching jammies idea!
Having a relationship with God is what matters the most. Loving others, spending time with family and making special memories with friends are all important in this life. Love your family photos! 🙂
There is a lot of us too, and we bake and cook together, but it can get hectic and I always seem to get a headache with all the stuff that I have to do. But I would not change the hustle and hurriedness of the Holidays. When I get a headache, I just take Tylenol. It is the only medication I take for a hurting head!
your family is so beautiful, I totally agree that family is one of the most important things. Family is what matters the most to me, and having a relationship with my Lord and Savior. I don’t care about the gifts anymore as I get older, I would rather have the extra few hours to spend with family making memories b/c tomorrow is never promised.
Tylenol is the first pain reliever that I will reach for.
BTW: That pajama pic is super super cute!
I totally agree with you.Beautiful family! I love the matching PJs!
I love my family and will always be there for them We had a Ugly Christmas Sweater Competition this year. It was fun and I won with my ugly sweater!!

My husband and son matter most, however this season there is the addition of my son’s fiancĂ©e.
It is not the getting or giving of gifts but spending quality time with family and friends.
I agree 100%! Family is what matters most…any time of the year! But the holiday season is always so special because I get to see family that I normally don’t get to see throughout the year. I love the picture of your family all in the matching PJ’s! 🙂
I love the pictures you shared of your family! I especially love the matching jammie outfits! Thanks for sharing.
family is what really matters and not just during the holidays.my mom and brother mean the world to me.that pic with the matching pj’s is really cute
Tylenol is a great brand. Thank you for sharing your pictures with us.
I think it’s important to celebrate what matters–like family and very close friends. You never know when you won’t be able to celebrate together as a “complete” family again. It is such a wonderful feeling to be together with the people you love, making memories, laughing, and just spending time with those that mean the most to you.
I agree completely but it seems like families have fell apart from each other, when I was growing up we always had Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles and cousins aroun all the time. It seems everything is gone in most families nowadays, I miss those close nit days
beautiful family
Family and friends are the best part of Christmas.
I love the PJ idea. Only thing is my hubby will not wear them. I still think I will try this. Family, friends, and neighbors are what’s important. That is what our whole town is about!
i have a large family to. i raised six children the last 2 was twins. i now have 14 grandchildren we have always loved the holidays , we make it as special as possible with singing, and goofing around, enjoying dinner and opening giftsach moment is cherished , we recently lost one of our twin daughters, life is so short hug your kids and tel them you love them each day !
I love your photos, especially the one with the striped pajama bottoms and green Santa tops. So adorable and original. Gives me an idea for this year. Thank you.
