I joined in on the Revlon Expression Experiment and I feel beautiful. Revlon is looking to inspire women and push them out of their comfort zone through the Expression Experiment. They want woment to learn how to express themselves as individuals, using Revlon's cosmetics, tools, tips and inspiration.
I decided to take Revlon up on this challenge and received a kit that included lipstick in 2 fabulous colors, lip gloss, nail polish in bold colors, 2 quads of eye shadow in Bombshell and Inspired, as well as makeup primer. I typically don't wear a lot of makeup and haven't worn eye shadow or lip stick in years. My normal routing includes just four things: foundation, blush, mascara, and lip gloss. Next week I am flying to NYC for the BlogHer conference and will be attending some fabulous parties. It's time to get bold with Revlon and jazz up my look!
I was excited to see what the Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting makeup primer would do for me. I wear mineral foundation that sometimes makes my face dry. The primer is the perfect canvas for my makeup. I love that It gives me a more smooth and radiant look.
This challenge made me feel like a little girl playing in her mother's makeup. I wasn't kidding when I said that I haven't worn eye shadow in years, so I was very unsure of how to apply it. The Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow quad took all of the guess work out of it. Not only are 4 complimentary colors already matched up, but there is a diagram on the back showing exactly how to apply it to my lids.
For my new party look I'm wearing the Revlon Color Burst LipButter in the color 070 Cherry Tart. It truly glides on smooth as butter. The red lipstick is a real departure for me, but I absolutely love it! I topped it with the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Gloss Fire. On my eyes I have the Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow Inspired quad. The bright colors are perfect for summer nights. What do you think?

Wow, what a fun challenge. Lots of nice items. One of the pictures shows an orange shaded gloss, I think. That is gorgeous! I like the colors you picked out for your look, it suits you. The teal and blue from the quad, really bring out your eye color and is a very modern look.
To cool so many nice things I would love to try this
You did a great job. This is such a fun challenge…. I am a mod on http://www.cafemom.com in several groups including the Beauty101 group and I brought up this challenge in there and all the ladies enjoyed discussing it. I’m always experimenting so it’s not really new for me to play with new ideas but it’s always fun. : )
