Chattanooga, Tennessee has become one of my favorite places to visit. The mountain scenery is beautiful and outdoor activities are endless. Chattanooga is also a wonderful destination for foodies with great restaurants like Big River Grille and Hennen’s Steakhouse. It’s a short flight for me and just an hour drive for my son, so we have been meeting in Chattanooga often for weekend visits. During our most recent visit to Chattanooga, we stayed at the Sleep Inn – a Choice Hotels property. Sleep Inn properties are located across the United States.
The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, the Hamilton Place Mall, and many restaurants. In fact, Cracker Barrel and Applebee’s restaurants were directly across the street from the hotel. Sleep Inn is also a short drive from downtown where you will find the Tennessee Aquarium, the riverfront, and many other activities. You won’t be far from Ruby Falls and Lookout Mountain either!
When choosing a hotel, I look for one that is clean, comfortable and affordable. The Sleep Inn in Chattanooga checked all of these boxes for me.
From the exterior of the hotel to the common areas and rooms everything was well kept, clean and welcoming. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I booked a Queen room for myself, and one with two double beds for my son and his friends. They were conveniently located across the hall from each other. The “Designed to Dream” hotel provided everything you need for a good night’s sleep and a comfortable stay. I really liked the modern decor.
I typically don’t sleep well in hotel rooms which is a shame considering the amount of traveling that I do. Fortunately, I slept like a baby at the Sleep Inn. My bed wasn’t too hard or soft… it was just right. I was feeling a bit like the fabled Goldilocks. It was funny that first morning when in unison my son’s girlfriend and I exclaimed how comfortable the pillows were. I’ll have to check and see if I can buy a couple of those pillows…
The spacious rooms come equipped with everything a family needs, including free internet access, a coffee maker, and hair dryer. Microwaves and refrigerators are also available. You even get a free hot breakfast in the mornings – an absolute must for traveling families. Sleep Inn offers everything you would expect to pay extra for.
I made a short video to give you a better look at the property.
