Did you know that today (August 26) is National Toilet Paper Day? I have a great way for you to celebrate this somewhat quirky event and help the environment in the process! All you have to do is choose to use Scott Tube-Free toilet paper.
Toilet Paper is one of those things that people don’t often talk about. After all, Scott Tube-Free is one of the first major toilet paper innovations in the past 100 years. That’s something to celebrate on National Toilet Paper Day!Â
Over 17 billion toilet paper tubes are used each year in the US alone. That’s enough to fill the Empire State Building, twice! I am rather stunned by this number. How many of those belong to your household? It’s such unnecessary waste, especially when you have a tube-free toilet paper option.
Small steps can have a big impact on the environment. By eliminating the tube, Scott Tube-Free offers an easy way to make a change that contributes to a better, cleaner world, without sacrificing quality. Can you imagine the impact if we all made the decision to give up the tube?
Scott Tube-Free Bath Tissue delivers the premium softness you want without the wasteful inner cardboard core. I promise you won’t miss the cardboard tube at all.
There’s another perk. If your family is anything like mine, you won’t miss all those tubes that mysteriously end up on the bathroom floor. Scott Tube-Free means less clean up and is an easy way to have an environmental impact. It’s a win-win for everyone!
Are you ready to give up the tube? Scott Tube-Free can be found at Walmart nationwide and at Food Lion and other local retailers. Use the Local Retailer Locator to find a store near you.Â
Here’s a great coupon offer! Scott is offering a select coupon for the Scott Tube-Free product line. Be sure to grab this Scott Coupon before you shop.
I love the idea of tube free toilet paper. What a simple switch with such a big impact.
I had no idea it was National Toilet Paper day.
Yes, we just bought the tube free. I think I like it much better than with the tubes.
I am so happy they are making tubeless toilet tissue now. It is going to make a huge difference in how much paper needs to be recycled.
I’ve always thought the tube was a bit unnecessary. It’s nice to see more people getting on board with this.
This is such a great way to keep waste down and help the planet. I love that it is available.
This would be great if we need to take a roll of toilet paper in our tote bag or purse. Less bulky. Scott tissue is a great brand, however, I would still prefer tubed toilet paper. I could help save the environment in some other way.
I think it’s great they are getting rid of the tube, less waste! And you are right it’s definitely an easy way to help the environment!
I really like this idea! While sometimes we’ll use the tubes for arts & crafts, more often than not, they end up on the bathroom floor. This is a great way to avoid that extra waste!
Hahaha, National Toilet Paper Day? I swear there are national holidays for the goofiest things!
