My experience with the Coby SNAPP mini digital camcorder has been fairly positive. I really like the compact size of it, making it easy to tuck into my purse. I also found it very easy to use, which is no small feat considering how technologically challenged I usually am. It’s convenient that it serves the dual purpose of taking photos and video. Although I have to admit that my digital camera takes better photos.

The zoom feature does not work as well as I had hoped and it does not keep up very well with fast action scenes, like a soccer game. However, at a price point under $40 it is a great value and a convenient multi-purpose camera and comcorder that you can tuck into your purse. I also am not too worried about the kids using it, since it’s affordable.
