The older some of my grandchildren get, the more difficult it is to know what to buy them for Christmas. Exchanging stockings on Christmas Eve is a long standing tradition in my family. I try hard not to fill their stockings with all candy, and this year I found the perfect stocking stuffer for my 11 and 13 year old granddaughters – the Colgate One Direction Holiday Pack. The girls are TOTALLY NUTS for the band One Direction, so I don’t think I’ll catch any grief for putting oral health products in their stockings.
Last week I was feeling all proud of myself that all of my Christmas shopping was finished. Then I realized that I totally forgot about stocking stuffers. In a panic, I rushed to Walmart for some stocking stuffers. Colgate One Direction Holiday Packs were on my list for the girls, so I headed over to the Health & Beauty department to check out the toothpaste isle. I found an adorable Colgate SpongeBob SquarePants Holiday Pack and some other cute toothbrushes, but no One Direction.
My next stop was the big Christmas section in the middle store where they were selling holiday gift sets. I easily spotted the packaging with 5 cute teenage boys on the front of the box. The holiday pack includes a combo of Colgate MaxFresh toothepaste (4.6 ounce) and toothbrush (powered). There is also a free song download included, which is what my granddaughters will be most excited about. Also inside the box are instructions on how to enter to win tickets to a 1D Concert!
Becca is wearing braces and Maddie will be getting them soon. Those braces cost a lot of money, so their parents and I strongly encourage them both to brush well and often. Unfortunately, the girls seem to have inherited my sweet tooth, so it’s especially important that they take care of their teeth. I think this holiday packing is brilliant! These girls are actually going to be excited about toothpaste!
You know I had to also pick up some candy for the Christmas stockings. I ended up coming home with quite a bit of loot, including: One Direction Holiday Packs, candy, and makeup. For teenage girls, you really can’t go wrong with giving gifts of makeup, candy, music, and pics of cute boys.
Do you need holiday gift ideas or stocking stuffers for tweens and teens? Be sure to look for Colgate One Direction Holiday Packs at Walmart! It’s a gift you can really feel good about giving.

Love the idea of a stocking stuffer that isn’t candy!!
Alright I can see how that would be a HUGE hit with girls that age!
I promise you that these are all over the two Walmarts I have been in recently. Not only were they in the dental hygiene section but the clothing section and near the pet section too!
That’s good to know!
Thats a cool idea, my daughter would love this as a gift – thanks for the suggestion!!
What a great idea! I would have loved something like this when I was a teen.
OOOO, can I come have a stocking at your house? I love those stuffers. We always do tooth brushes too. I still need to go pick mine up.
Walmart has so much stocking stuffer ideas, it’s amazing! My daughter would love this. She is nine and I always forget about these guys so when I hear “1D” I have to think about it for a minute. lol
OMG! My little sister (13) is obsessed with this band! The only thing she asked for this Christmas is “One Direction stuff” and nothing else. I bought her a little One Direction wallet but I would love to add this as well!
I hope the girls enjoyed their stockings!
They certainly did! Thanks!
