I’m excited to tell you about the new CVS Classroom Gift Card promotion that began yesterday and runs through August 31st! It’s a simple way to earn CVS gift cards when shopping for classroom essentials such as backpacks and binders. I don’t know about you, but the cost of back to school supplies this month has really made a dent in my family’s budget. This promotion is really going to help, and is a great way for families and teachers to save as they prepare for back to school.
Here’s how it works:
- From August 11 through August 31, members of the ExtraCare program will receive a $5 CVS/pharmacy gift card after spending $20 on select items featured in the weekly circular.
- You can choose to use the gift card for your own shopping, or as a gift to teachers to help cover classroom expenses.
- Products included in the promotion range from backpacks and lunch boxes to school supplies, glue and binders from many popular national brands as well as Caliber, a CVS/pharmacy exclusive line of home and office supplies. Also included are household necessities and grocery items such as peanut butter, jam, cereal, juice boxes and treats ideal for packed lunches and after-school snacks.
Choose to use the gift card for your own back to school shopping or gift it to your child’s teacher. Visit CVS online to check out your weekly store ad. Will you be heading to CVS this week?

That’s awesome they are doing that, this is a great thing to give to a teacher to help with supplies.
