The Easter holiday falls so early this year! I have quite a few Easter baskets to put together, and hope to have all of my shopping done by this weekend. So, I’ll be heading to my local CVS Pharmacy where I am sure to find everything I need for both the teens and little kids on my list. Maybe even a little something for myself!
I prefer the DIY Easter basket route over the pre-made baskets. It’s fun to add personalized items to the baskets, along with a few sweet treats.

I like to include some candy and a small, useful gift, like pens or beauty supplies!
I like to include lots of chocolate but also small toys.
I usually put in a chocolate bunny, some type of craft like modeling clay or a coloring book, and a toothbrush.
My kids baskets always include a toy or a video game.
I love the milk and white chocolate foiled eggs, they remind me of when I was little and my mom hid them around the room for us to hunt for. I’m going to have to look next time I’m at CVS for those cookies & creme eggs they look really good:)
I mostly just love to have candy in an easter basket..both milk and dark chocolate! Small toys can be a good idea too, though.
I like to add a stuffed animal for each grandchild. And another small toy, as well as some of their favorite candy.

I always like to include peeps, some sort of toy and lots and lots of chocolate. My girls are to little at this point but when they get older I plan on hiding Easter eggs with money in them so they can save it up in the piggy banks 🙂
