This is a fun and inexpensive craft to make for your little beauty queens. Mom’s old cosmetic containers are great for holding Magic Makeup for Children. Note: The detergent keeps the food coloring from staining the skin and clothes.
Magic Makeup for Children
2 tablespoons shortening
5 tablespoons cornstarch
5 drops of liquid dish washing detergent
4 to 6 drops of food coloring
Mix shortening and cornstarch until creamy. Add dish washing detergent and mix. Add food coloring and mix until color is even.
