In the mailbox last week was a surprise from the Vocalpoint Blogger Program. They sent me a full size Downy UnStoppables to try out.
So what is Downy UnStopables? It’s an in-wash scent booster. It’s not a liquid scent booster, but instead it actually reminds me of lentils, only lentils that smell really good.
The top of the bottle says “Squeeze & Sniff” and I will admit that while the bottle sat on my desk for a day that I sniffed more than a few times. What? It smells really good!
I am typically no-frills when it comes to laundry. I normally stick to the basics of whatever laundry detergent and dryer sheets I can get on sale. The instructions to use Downy UnStopables are simple enough. Just Shake a little into the cap and toss into the washer at the beginning of wash cycle. They don’t tell you how much to use, in case you are one of those people who like to measure things. It was a bit of trial and error for me. I found after a couple of loads that I did not need to use as much to achieve the same results.
After adding the Downy UnStopables to several loads, I am just thrilled with the results! My clothes smell wonderful. They may have just sold this no-frills girl on adding a little something extra to my laundry routine!
