Last month mom and I spent our dream Kissimmee vacation at Global Resort Homes. Typically we take several small vacations throughout the year, usually a long weekend. I truly love to travel, but the novelty of staying in a hotel seems to wear off after a few days. We spent 7 nights in Kissimmee and had a LOT of extended family members visit us while we were there, so our 5 bedroom townhouse from Global Resort Homes was really put to the test.
One of the biggest perks of staying in a resort home and probably the most obvious is the amount of space that you have. Multiple bedrooms allow for everyone to have some privacy and take some down time. The 5 bedroom 4 bath 2,128 sq feet townhome that we stayed in comfortably sleeps 10 in style. With 2 king bedrooms, 2 queen bedrooms and 2 twin beds, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax after a day at the amusement park. On vacation I love to lay in bed and watch TV, which is something I don’t often get to do at home. Each of our 5 bedrooms had a flat screen television and cable which was very nice perk.
Dining out can be such an expensive part of a vacation, but the fully equipped kitchen in our Global Resort Home saved us a bundle. There were plenty of dishes, pots, and pans for our entire family… basically everything you need to prepare, serve and store your meals. Between the dining table and bar seating, we were able to comfortably serve dinner to 10 people.
You might think this is silly, but one of the things that excited me the most was the laundry room. Knowing that I could wash clothes, meant that I didn’t have to pack quite as much and didn’t have to bring any dirty laundry home. It was such a convenience for me!
Although this was a vacation, there were still a few blogging things that needed to be tended to. The high speed internet connection enabled me to get a little work done while we were in Orlando… when my laptop wasn’t being used to play Dora games.
{We had a lot of special family moments in our resort home.}
Our house also had a screened in heated splash pool. When we left Georgia it was pretty cold, so getting to relax in a heated pool during the month of November was a true luxury.
Global Resort Homes didn’t miss a thing when it came to creating a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere, from the over-sized leather sofa, to the tasteful art work, and luxurious bedding. It was so easy to feel relaxed and enjoy family time in our home away from home at 8967 California Palm Rd.
Conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, Disney, and other attractions our townhome was located in the gated resort community of Paradise Palms. Paradise Palms had everything you could possibly want in a resort community, including a stunning clubhouse feauturing a sauna, movie theater, game room, internet lounge, basketball and volleyball courts, lighted tennis courts, state-of-the-art fitness center, resort style swimming pool with waterfall, grotto and spa, pool slide, tiki bar and grill, kid’s pool, and much more!
So many wonderful family memories were made during our stay at Global Resort Homes!
* My family received a complimentary stay at Global Resort Homes. However, all thoughts are completely my own.

Oooh! I love Kissimmee! Almost every time I’ve been to Disney, I’ve stayed there to save on the budget. Great review!
That’s a stunning resort home. I had no idea they were that nice.
What a beautiful place! We stayed with Global Resorts Homes over the summer and adored our house too. We’d recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Orlando area as well. So glad to hear you were happy with your home.

Wow, a private pool! How wonderful! I wish I could travel more sometimes, but it’s not possible at the moment.
