Having pets definitely adds a special kind of love to your life. Pets are loyal friends who love you unconditionally. They do require a bit of care, and in turn, so do your floors. The only down side of owning 2 dogs that I can think of is dealing with pet hair, and lately muddy paw paws. Maybe the barking a little too. Okay, the barking a lot. But still. It’s totally worth it. I can’t imagine life without my fur babies. The barking you get used to and the fur issue is easily tackled with the right vacuum. A Dyson Ball Animal vacuum to be exact.
I have to tell you EXCITED I was to learn that Dyson wanted to send me the new Dyson Ball Animal upright vacuum to review. I have been at my wits end trying to stay on top of the house work, and this is just what I needed. As soon as I got the vacuum out of the box and assembled, which happened to be quite simple, an introduction to Winston and Fionna was in order.
My house has wood floors with area rugs in every room. I have never been able to find a vacuum that does a great job on both. Having two different sweepers takes up a lot of valuable storage. I’ve had my fair share of vacuums over the years, and have never been as satisfied as I am with the brand new Dyson Ball Animal, which officially launched on January 1st. It moves seamless from carpet to hard surfaces.
The newest Dyson upright vacuum comes with a more powerful suction that removes dirt and microscopic dust. It is great on the hardwood and the carpet because it has a self-adjusting seal that controls the suction. The vacuum has a ball that makes turning incredibly easy.
You don’t have to be a pet owner to appreciate the awesomeness of this vacuum cleaner.
This machine can turn on a dime, making it easier to steer around the furniture or other obstacles in the room. I have a lot of furniture crammed into my house. Add to that four dog beds, lots of toys, and teenagers. The Dyson Ball Animal has a lot of maneuvering to do around here and it does it splendidly.
If you have hard to reach places, the Ball Animal comes with a lot of great attachments. One of them is sure to get the job done right. There is even one for your pet beds.
In addition to fabulously removing pet fur, the Dyson Ball Animal does an amazing job of removing dust from your home, which is great for someone like me with allergies. My house is a dust pit. I honestly don’t know where it all comes from. The vacuum has HEPA filtration and the bin is easy to empty with just the touch of a button. The filter only needs to be rinsed out and dried every three month.
See all that muck? That was just one small area in the living room y’all. Yuck! And it looked pretty darn clean before vacuuming. Impressed yet?
Have you ever looked at the bottom of a vacuum and had to clean out the turbine tool, the spinning bar that beats the floor and brings up the dirt and hair? The Ball Animal comes with a Tangle-free Turbine tool so that you can pick up both human and animal hair without it getting tangled, meaning less gross things for you to clean. One of my favorite features is the instant -release high-reach wand. The brush is great for cleaning blinds and other hard to reach areas. It twists into different positions to make cleaning much easier.
I should add that the Ball Animal isn’t as loud as some other vacuums I have used in the past. Fionna doesn’t mind it… so much.
The Dyson Ball Animal (available at Best Buy) is extremely versatile, and in my opinion a worthwhile investment. With teenagers and family pets mucking about the house, having one vacuum that works on all surfaces AND gets those hard to reach places is invaluable. A worthwhile investment, indeed.
Would the new Dyson Ball Animal make your life easier?
