Video blogging and eating healthier were both at the top of my list of goals for 2013. I’m glad to say that my diet has improved drastically the last couple of months, and I’ve actually managed to lose a few pounds. Two of my favorite blogs Tales From the Nursery and Mommy Talk Show feature a lot of videos. At a recent Home Depot event, I had the chance to see Joyce from Mommy Talk Show in action, and realized that maybe I could really do this video thing. An opportunity arose for me to blend these two goals of vlogging and healthy living, by doing a video review of the EatSmart Precision Elite Digital Kitchen Scale. Please keep in mind that being in front of the camera is a very new thing for me, and be nice to me when you… pretty please.
More on the EatSmart Precision Elite Kitchen Scale
When you need to be mindful of portions, there is nothing more essential than a good kitchen scale. I don’t know about you, but when I let my eyes and appetite judge my portions they end up a whole lot larger than they should be. Â The EatSmart Precision Elite Kitchen Scale takes the guess work out of it for you.
I think it’s important to talk about appearances. If I have an appliance that is kept stored away in the cupboard, I am less likely to use it. This kitchen scale has such a sleek stainless steel design, so I don’t mind leaving it out on the kitchen counter for all to see.
The stainless steel surface is easy to wipe clean, and is quite large – accommodating bowls and plates easily. The tare feature lets you subtract the weight of any plate or container with the push of a button. The scale has a large digital readout that is also backlit, making it easy to read for even someone like me who doesn’t wear her bifocals as she should. I love how simple it is to switch between grams, ounces, and pounds for measurement. I honestly have nothing but good things to say about this kitchen scale.
