I just wrapped up week 3 on my new Nutrisystem diet plan and the scale said something I have not seen in a long while. I’m under 200 pounds! Hooray! I did not have a huge weight loss this week dropping from 201.5 to 199.5, but the fact that I am under 200 pounds is really exciting for me.
My biggest obstacle this week was ice cream. We had some great ice cream coupon and sale match-ups last week and all of the new holiday flavors are out. I can’t expect the rest of my household to give up ice cream, just because I am on a diet. My will power was really put to the test and I failed miserably. Fortunately, since I followed my Nutrisystem meal plan for the remainder of the week, my moments of weakness did not keep me from dropping a couple of pounds.
I have really been enjoying my Nutrisystem soups this week. They really do taste as good as homemade and are the perfect comfort food during these cold winter months. Since I have really been trying to follow my Nutrisystem meal plan, I am now eating more fruits and vegetables than ever before. I know my body is thankful for this change.
Hopefully, eating healthy will soon become a way of life for me. Maybe just in time for the Christmas holiday?
