Hickory Nut Gap Farm in Asheville

Last month I took part in a wonderful gathering of food bloggers in Asheville, NC for the Food Blog Forum annual conference. Foodtopia Asheville was the perfect setting for this meeting of foodie minded bloggers. One of our excursions brought us to Hickory Nut Gap Farm in Asheville, a family owned farm with sustainable agriculture practices.

Hickory Nut Gap Farm raises grass-fed cattle for beef, pasteurized pork and poultry, and offers u-pick organic apples and berries. Nature was all around us at the farm. You could see it, smell it, and taste it. I was really wishing I had brought my camera along on this trip, but did manage to snap a few half-way decent pics with my smartphone. I thought it might be nice to share some with you.
