Did you know that Frigidaire sells much more than large appliances? Until recently, I had no idea myself. The Frigidaire online store offers much more than just filters and parts for their appliances. The Frigidaire Cookware Catalog is full of many great kitchen items and cooking tools.
I recently received a Square Bakestone with Utensil, a set of HotSpots Pot Holders/Trivets, and a pair of Zyliss Soft Skin Peelers from the Frigidaire online store.
Bakestone – I was so excited to get this bake stone. When it arrived, I had a square shaped pizza sitting in the freezer that I was hankering to cook. It fit perfectly on this bake stone. I have other stone bake ware, so
I was already familiar with the benefits of baking on clay in that it provides even heat distribution. We bake a lot of cookies in our house and I have been using this bakestone instead of my metal cooking sheets, and getting much better results. I like that this bakestone comes with it’s own two-handled carrier, making it safer and easier to lift out of the oven. It also came with a nice serving utensil which is something you can never have enough of.

HotSpot Pot Holders/Trivets – These silicone pot holders/trivets are really nice. I got them in white (which is really almost transparent), so they will blend in on the dining room table. I really like how multi-functional they are. Also, they are safe up to 675 degrees , very flexible and slip-resistant. My favorite feature is that they are dishwasher safe.
Zyliss Soft Skin Peelers – I have to admit that I have some pretty crummy peelers in my utensil drawer. I really needed some high quality peelers and am thrilled with the two I got from Frigidaire. The serrated edges make it easy to peel fruits and veggies. Mom and I like to make fresh apple and peach pies and these peelers do a good job of taking off just the skin. The julienne peeler will be put to good use when we make our veggie trays for the holidays.
