Allergy season is full swing here in Georgia and is taking it’s toll on me. I love summertime, but the itchy eyes and stuffy nose make it difficult for me to feel and look my best. I don’t even wear eye makeup much in the summertime, because my eyes are so itchy and watering. Thanks to the 24 hour relief I get from Allegra, I can better enjoy outdoor activities and being able to wear eye makeup takes my summer look from drab to fab.
A trip to our local CVS was in order earlier this week, to pick up some Allegra and beauty supplies to help freshen up my summer look. There are a lot of allergy medications to choose from at our CVS Pharmacy, but Allegra’s purple box really stands out. I was able to pick up a 30 count box for just $17.99, plus I had a $4 off coupon making it an even better value. During the entire month of may, you can pick up a 30 count box of Allegra with your CVS card!
CVS has the best selection of beauty products. There are so many different brands of cosmetics to choose from. I was glad to see so many great products for summer, to help me get from drab to fab. With the same blue nail polish chipping off my nails for the last two weeks, I was in desperate need of some polish remover and a pretty new color of polish for summer. Armed with my store circular and lots of coupons, I was ready to get some great deals on summer beauty products to freshen up my look.
I found some great eye shadow quads on sale, and got some new mascara and eyeliner. Did you know that you should replace your mascara every 3 months to avoid nasty bacteria? I make sure to replace mine every other month, just to be safe. I don’t like the heaviness of lipstick and my lip gloss never stays on for long, so I picked up some lip stain that I have been wanting to try. Don’t you just love this pale lavender Sally Hansen nail color that I picked up?
Allegra really does a great job of soothing my itchy, puffy, watery eyes; making it possible for me to wear eye makeup. Look at the difference in the images below. Do you see how puffy my eyes were, before taking Allegra? Now if only I could get more sleep and lose the circles under my eyes!
From Drab to Fab!
Getting extra rest and taking Allegra in the summertime helps me feel and look my best. What are your allergy symptons? What helps take your summer look from drab to fab?

Wow I miss CVS! What I wish I really missed was my allergies. One of the fun aspects of this time of year.

I LOVE this post! You are so brave. 🙂
I can only open one eye at a time in the morning because the sun hurts my eyes when they’re irritated and sensitive. I need to try Allegra and see if it helps…
LOL! You’re so right Mickey – it wasn’t easy posting that before picture!

This is the first time I’ve suffered from itchy eyes here in Arkansas. I think it has a lot to do with the mild winters we are having. I would like to try Allegra.
