Who says you’re not supposed to play with your food? Give your kids permission to break the rules with this fun Fruity Pebbles Easter Eggs craft. The vibrant, rainbow colors in Fruity Pebbles make it the perfect cereal for this simple Easter craft. Today’s food fun for kids is sponsored by Pebbles Cereal. All thoughts are my own.
Tati and had a lot of fun with this craft. I love the simplicity of it, and that I required just a few supplies that we already had around the house. Ahead of time we sorted some of the colors. This is totally optional, but the task was a great boredom buster and Tati enjoyed snacking as she worked. We used some of the individual colors to put a striped design on our Easter eggs.

Scissors
Craft glue
Fruity Pebbles Cereal
Bowls or other small containers
Easter Egg Craft Instructions:
To make cleanup easy, I cut a poster board in half and placed it on the table. I also think it is best to decorate the eggs on a paper towel, so you can easily shake any excess cereal back into the bowl.
Download and print this printable Easter egg template onto card stock or construction paper. You could also freehand your eggs or trace around a large egg shaped cookie cutter. Then, cut out your eggs.
Use craft glue to create a design. We found that more intricate designs didn’t work out as well as covering large areas.
Before the glue dries, sprinkle the area with Fruity Pebbles. Use your hand to gently press the cereal into the glue.
Shake off any excess cereal onto a paper towel, then into a bowl.
Allow to dry completely. You could optionally cover the cereal with a craft spray sealant to keep them a little longer.
Now, wasn’t that fun?
We used some baker’s twine and small clothes pins to make an Easter Garland.
The best part of this Easter craft was the Fruity Pebbles Cereal, of course! A perfect cereal crunch combined with a colorful way to say “Good Morning.” Fun for crafting too! Connect with Pebbles Cereal on Facebook for more ideas and inspiration for FUN.
