We all have such busy lives. Between work, school, extracurricular activities, and the day to day tasks we all must do it’s a wonder that we ever find time to sleep. Communication and organization are both challenges Angela and I face writing a multi-author blogs, and also keeping track of various freelance work. Earlier this year we started using Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium to help us stay on the same page, and prevent overlap.

Since Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium lets you download on up to 5 devices, we are both able to sign in to update our to-do lists and keep track of what still needs to be done each day. Uploading our files to SkyDrive means we can access them from anywhere. We keep 4 to-do lists in OneNote: daily tasks (these are tasks that we do every day), daily, weekly, and monthly lists. Even if one of us is traveling, we can easily stay up-to-date. OneNote is also great for keeping track of events in your personal life.

Some of the other Microsoft Office 365 features we use regularly include Microsoft Word for our documents and invoices, and Excel to keep track of our finances and monies owed to us. With the holiday season fast approaching, Excel spreadsheets have been very helpful in planning our Thanksgiving menu and keeping track of which Christmas gifts we have purchased and still need to get. There are just so many ways that we Get It Done each day with the help of Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium.

I should also mention that you can use Office on your phone. Get stuff done on the go with Office on your Windows Phone, iPhone or Android phone. Access, view, edit, and share Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents by simply downloading Office Mobile on your phone and logging in with your Office 365 account. Isn’t that so handy?

Being able to work from anywhere, anytime is so important. The 9 to 5 has blurred and today people need modern technology to find balance. From the home to the office, and especially on the go, people all around the world are working differently than the past. In fact, a recent study conducted online by Harris Interactive on behalf of Microsoft, revealed that more than half of office workers (53%) would be willing to work more hours—and one in five would be willing to take a pay cut—to have more flexibility in where and when they got work done.

Would you consider working more hours or taking a pay cut to have more flexibility?

Get It Done Day
With the holiday season quickly approaching, the need to get things done away from the office has never been greater or more desirable.
