Giving a Brighter Future with World Vision

I was compensated by World Vision for my time in writing this post. All opinions are my own.

There are so many tragic circumstances and hardships around the world. It makes me so grateful for all that I have. In some parts of the world, there are families that have to worry about where they will get their next meal and how they will get fresh water. Some countries are struggling to build back after a natural disaster. It breaks my heart to think of these children having to worry about all the things that we take for granted. As a mom, my heart breaks for the parents who struggle to provide and keep their kids safe. I am proud to be working with World Vision to share a bit about what they do and how you can also help.

She is a sign of hope to the future. Dulamsuren is a sweet girl from Mongolia and one of the many children who has been helped by World Vision. Her family is a semi-nomadic family of herders. In 2015, Dulamsuren was one of the World Vision gift catalog’s cover girls. Dulamsuren moves with her family 4 times a year, during the Mongolian winter, called zud, and to protect their herds from predators. Some zuds can be particularly bad and in 2002, the zud left the family destitute. This is a real possibility each year for the 300,000 nomadic herders each year.
