It’s November already. The holiday season has arrived. This time is one of my favorite times of year. A time to gather with friends and family and reminice about life’s successes with each other. I love looking around and taking a moment to truly recognize the blessings that surround me. I often wonder to myself, “how do I share my blessings with others?” Enter Whirlpool and Habitat for Humanity. Thank you Hhgregg for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to participate in the Whirlpool Every day, care Project!
This past year I admit I have slacked off a bit in the giving section. I haven’t done much community service. In the past, I have donated homemade blankets to the animal shelter. I’ve spent the day checking childhood cancer patients and their families into a hotel for an amazing vacation.
From cleaning beaches to clearing debris from a local neighborhood, I’ve participated in a few programs. I’ve always been interested in Habitat for Humanity. Recently I considered volunteering for a project after seeing a news segment about a local home project completed.
Whirlpool donates appliances to Habitat for Humanity. It’s part of their Every day, care Project. In need of a new dishwasher myself, naturally Whirlpool is a consideration. Hhgregg tends to run some great deals. And now that I have knowledge of this partnership, I respect the brand more. I appreciate how they have inspired me to give back.
The holiday season is a season of giving. At a time of year I feel that need, I have been reminded of a way to fulfill it. There are many ways you can participate as well. You can donate or volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, or participate in the Every day, care project!
Don’t forget to check out those new Whirlpool products! Like maybe a new dishwasher?
I hope to see more stories of how people are giving back in the coming future. How do you give back in your community?

I think it would be neat to work on a habitat house. I’m also a little nervous about it because I am not very handiy.
Honestly I need to do better about giving back to my community. I give monetarily but giving of your time is priceless.
There is a Habitat for Humanity houses in our neighborhood. It was nice to see so many people come together to help a family in need.
Habitat for Humanity is an amazing program. The city i live in is currently looking for a family to build a house for.
Wow this is pretty awesome. Since I was a kid I’ve wanted to help out Habitat for Humanity. I think it’s an amazing organization. Whirlpool too.
I had an opportunity to go help out on a Habitat for Humanity home once, and it was so fulfilling. I hope to be able to do it again. The final product is so much more than just a house.
I think Habitat for Humanity sounds great. I have given back in different ways often, and my kids do too.
My church is involved with Habitat. Such a great cause
Habitat for Humanity is an amazing organization. I’d love to get involved with them in my area
