Laura and I met, Wendy, the founder of Gutzy Gear while at Reviewer’s Retreat last month. We were just so impressed by this product, as well as the person behind Gutzy Gear. We think Gutzy Gear is so fun and it might just be the next big thing for kids, returning to school this year.
Gutzy Gear is a great new way for kids to express themselves by customizing their backpacks, duffel bags, scooters, guitar straps, and more. Gutzies are fun, removable patches that stick to a Gutzy strap cover. There are currently 56 colorful, creative Gutzies to choose from and more being released all the time.
A Gutzy Starter Kit includes 2 straps and a free patch ($9.99). Gutzies are sold in sets of two ($4.99) and are available in many fun designs, including cool licensed character sets ($5.99) like Sponge Bob, The Avengers and Spider Man. Gutzies can be collected, easily swapped and traded.

My niece Maddie is very excited about the Gutzy patches and straps we brought home from Reviewer’s Retreat. It’s such a fun way for her to personalize her backpack. We look forward to collecting more Gutzy patches.

Gutzy Gear is just the type of accessory that I like to see children carry on display. There’s no rough characters or violent depictions and is absolutely appropriate for growing children.
