These movies are perfect when T and I are making Christmas cookies or when Andy and I are wrapping presents. It just isn’t Christmas without Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas on and this year there are 24 new original movies premiering. It is one of my favorite holiday traditions!
Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas
The holidays are one of my favorite times of the year. It just reminds me of family. I love our family traditions and I love the warm feeling that comes knowing that I will see my son and that we will all be together during the holidays. Just spending time together during Christmas makes perfect. That is why I love getting ready for Christmas. Even when we can’t be together in the month leading up to the holidays, it just gives me the best feeling knowing that Christmas, which is truly the most magical time of the year, is coming.
This year one of the new movies that I can not wait to watch on November 30th is “Christmas in Rome“. Lacey Chabert plays Angela, an American who is living in Rome. Right before Christmas, she is fired from her job when she meets an American executive named Oliver, played by Sam Page. Oliver wants to buy a high-end Italian ceramics company. He hires her to be his tour guide through the Eternal City since he can not buy the ceramics company until he learns “the heart and soul of Rome.” Sparks fly and the real question is will there be another heart and soul that he wins.
I’m especially looking forward to seeing the sights in Rome, like the scene above which was shot in front of Trevi fountain. I have a picture of the fountain hanging in my living room. I was fortunate to spend some time there a few years ago, and returning one day soon is way up on my bucket list.
