Not-So-Guilty Cinnamon Sugar Almond Rolls Recipe

Use as directed for 14 days to treat frequent heartburn (occurring 2 or more days a week). Although some may experience relief in the first 24 hours, it may take 1-4 days for full effect. Cinnamon Sugar Almond Rolls

Serves 12 – 5 WW points per serving

Ingredients
Rolls:
1/4 cup butter *make sure butter is cold*
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
dash of salt
1/2 cup flour
½ tsp Almond Extract
1 can Pillsbury Crescent Dough
Icing:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. softened butter
1-1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 to 1-1/2 Tbsp. milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

In a medium bowl, using a pastry cutter or your fingers, combine butter, almond extract,  sugars, cinnamon, salt and flour until a coarse crumbs crumbs.

On an ungreased cookie sheet, roll out dough. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.

Roll into a log and wrap with wax paper.

Place in freezer for about 30-45 min to firm up.

Remove from freezer and cut into rolls. Place in 9in baking dish.

In a bowl, combine icing ingredients and stir until smooth. Pour evenly over rolls.

Bake at 400 degrees for 8-12 minutes, until golden on top.

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  • I want to try making these but you don’t mention what kind of dough. Is it pie, biscuit, crescent, or cinnamon roll dough?
