I am a YesVideo Storyteller which means I get the opportunity to test out their video services. This is a compensated ambassadorship, but all opinions are my own.
We’re more than a week into a new year, and I’m still talking about Christmas. It might have something to do with that Christmas tree still sitting in my living room. It’s a constant reminder of the lovely holiday season my family just had. I’m just not quite ready to let it go. Mom and I took down the holiday decorations and removed all the ornaments from the tree a week ago, but haven’t quite been able to find the time or energy to take the tree apart and pack it away. So, I am going to keep talking about Christmas. I hope you don’t mind.
Whenever the whole family is together, it seems someone is always missing from the pictures. It’s usually myself or my brother behind the camera. My nephew, Nathaniel, had his girlfriend was over on Christmas Eve, so I took advantage of the opportunity to get a family picture. Being an impromptu photography session, we weren’t dressed up or made up for the occasion. Rather, we were sweaty from cooking and cleaning. But it was real. Just our family, together, and having fun.
We also spent some time on Christmas Eve watching online videos that were recently transferred by YesVideo. My brother has always been good about taking lot’s of video at family events. I was able to transfer some of his miniDV tapes that were filled with holiday memories. Sadly, I didn’t take much video when my son was little, but I do have tons of photos. Click on this share link to see one of our videos from Christmas morning in 2003. It’s amazing how much all of the kids have grown up since then. There was a lot of excitement on that Christmas morning.
