In addition to the OREO Cookie Pops recipe, I have some fun ideas for displaying and serving our cookie pops. When hosting a holiday party, I think the presentation is just as important as the food itself.

Inspiration for these Holiday OREO Cookie Pops come from the “Bring Home The Holidays With The Ultimate Party Planner” that’s packed with fresh ideas and savings.

To decorate with the Christmas Tree…

You’ll need 1/4 cup of melted green candy coating wafers, rainbow sprinkles, star sprinkles.

Put the candy into a baggie and place the baggie into a bowl of HOT water to melt. Massage the bag to aide in melting.

Dry off the bag and snip a very small corner off. Pipe a zig-zag pattern starting from the bottom and work your way up. Sprinkle and decorate and set aside to dry. Do these one at a time and work quickly. The candy coating dries quickly, and you want to get the sprinkles on before it hardens.

Tip: To give these as gifts you will need some clear pops favor bags and some ribbon. Cover each OREO Cookie Pop with a bag, then seal it closed by tying a simple bow with the ribbon.

How to Make an OREO Cookie Pop Holder

You can easily make a cookie pop holder with a piece of styrofoam and some wrapping paper. A piece of styrofoam that measures 10×15 inches that is 1-inch thick perfectly holds 12-16 cookie pops. Begin by cutting your piece of styrofoam to size. Then wrap it up like a gift with some holiday wrapping paper. Use the sharp end of a skewer to poke holes into the foam, and a ruler to evenly space the holes. Easy peasy.
