I am both excited and nervous about my new opportunity as part of the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program. In my 20’s I had a lot of difficulty keeping weight on, no matter how much I ate. My problems with weight gain began after my hysterectomy. My body has gone through so many changes, the most radical being excessive weight gain. I have never been very successful at dieting. So I think what I need is a diet that is already planned out and very easy to prepare. Nutrisystem seems like a diet that I can be successful at.
For my first month of food, I was able to select 18 different items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks/dessert. In addition to all of that food, I received 10 days of fresh/frozen freezer meals. My food arrived earlier today and I am still trying to find places to put everything! In one of my boxes was a 32 ounce water bottle that I am supposed to drink twice daily. That may just be the biggest challenge of this diet for me!
I am so eager to make some changes that I plan to begin my first week on Nutrisystem tomorrow. I feel so ashamed to put this in writing, but I am beginning this diet at an all-time highest weight of 204 pounds. Your words of encouragement will be greatly appreciated as I share this journey with you. I will provide a weekly progress report, so stay tuned…
Here is a recent photo taken just last week. I really hope that soon I begin to see some of the fullness in my face disappear. I also look forward to feeling less tired and awkward. My goal weight after 4 months on Nutrisystem is 160 pounds. Wish me luck!
