Long ago I learned that it’s not a good idea to go grocery shopping on an empty stomach, so yesterday before Laura (Mom) and I went shopping we pulled into our local Arby’s for lunch. I had heard about the new Turkey Roasters, including the Arby’s Grand Turkey Club Sandwich, that Arby’s is serving up and was eager to try one. We’ve been sharing a lot of Fall themed posts on the blog recently and my mind has been fixated on Thanksgiving all week long… fixated on Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving turkey is probably my favorite meal of the year, so why the heck don’t we have turkey all year long?
Thankfully, Arby’s has made it easy for me to satisfy my turkey craving with their new Turkey Roasters. Introducing the Grand Turkey Club Sandwich…
Oh yeah… That was my lunch yesterday! Are you feeling a wee bit jealous right now?
Arby’s is “slicing up freshness” with the new Grand Turkey Club. The delightful sandwich is served on a toasted Harvest Wheat bun with turkey sliced fresh in-store, served hot with melted Swiss cheese, pepper bacon, leaf lettuce, tomato and mayo. This is more than just a sandwich. The new Grand Turkey Club has true #craveability!
Arby’s Grand Turkey Club Sandwich
Arby’s has hit this one out of the park, as far as I am concerned! Just like Arby’s had described it, my sandwich was mouth-watering delicious with lots of fresh sliced turkey, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It’s so nice to visit a fast food restaurant and get a sandwich served on a whole grain bun, since I am trying to grab a little extra fiber whenever I can. I’m a little addicted to Arby’s curly fries, so I just had to get the combo. I did make up for the fries by getting the unsweetened tea as my drink. That makes it a wash, right?
Mom had her usual at Arby’s. I don’t think she will ever eat anything other than the Arby’s Beef and Cheddar. She loves that sandwich! I on the other hand like to mix things up a bit.
Do you have freshly carved turkey, pumpkin pie, or a spiced cider on the brain these days? The new Arby’s Grand Turkey Club Sandwich will certainly satisfy that craving. They are also offering the Turkey Classic and Turkey n’ Cheddar Classic, and they look equally delicious. I think I’ll be trying the Turkey n’ Cheddar on my next visit to Arby’s.
What are you craving these days?
