I am a YesVideo Storyteller which means I get the opportunity to test out their video services. This is a compensated ambassadorship, but all opinions are my own.
Writing this blog post is a bitter sweet moment for me. It’s my final blog post as a YesVideo Storyteller, an opportunity I will always appreciate and treasure. Like many of you, my life is quite hectic and I don’t often enough slow down enough to smell the roses. My partnership with YesVideo has not only helped me to preserve my family’s memories by converting our old videotapes to DVD, but also has served as a reminder take the time to enjoy all the precious moment that I have with the people I love.
The last few months have been magical as my family has watched old video clips. We’ve laughed and we’ve cried, as we relived some moments that might have otherwise been forgotten. We have laughed at each other’s questionable hair styles over the years. Oohed and awed over every adorable thing the kids did when they were little… even when they were just horsin’ around. We also had some tear filled moments as we watched video of some friends and family members who are no longer with us.
Now that my son has grown up and left the nest, I find myself with a motherly void to fill. Time passes much too quickly, and before we know it our kids are grown and having kids of their own. I sometimes sit for hours looking at my son’s old baby pictures. I am blessed to have a very close relationship with two of my nieces. They are the most amazing girls. These two girls have always been crazy about horses. When they were little the My Little Pony collection was quite expansive. When they got old enough, their Papa gave them the gift of two real horses.
Just Horsin’ Around
I thought it would be fun to share a couple of clips of these two pony crazed girls. I can’t help but giggle each time I watch them. I wasn’t kidding when I said these girls had a lot of My Little Pony toys. This video clip shows just a small sampling of the collection. We sent a few of my brother and sister-in-law’s old video tapes in to YesVideo to be converted to digital, and it’s hysterical just how many of the video clips are of these girls playing with their ponies.
