Directions

Line the bottom of a large pot with extra jar rings. This will keep the jars from touching the bottom. Fill pot 1/3 full with water and bring to a boil.

Coat the inside of each jar with cooking spray. Have each diner add a few spoonfuls of cooked rice to jar. Layer on favorite burrito ingredients. Screw on the lid (not too tight) and place the jar in the boiling water until the food is hot. It should take about 10 minutes. Spoon or pour your ingredients into warmed tortillas and wrap up it up.

  • HOW do you think of these things? Have you ever thought of writing a cookbook? These sound amazing! I don’t know of anyone else that would make these in canning jars! (But I sure am going to try them out!!) So nice for the kids to help with!
