My granddaughter is obsessed with makeup. But at the age of 3, I don’t think she needs to be wearing real makeup just yet. Especially with her little brother into all of her toys. It’s pretend makeup that looks and feels real to the touch, without the mess or staining you get from some of the other play makeup out there. I really like that the compact does not include a mirror, making it safe for younger children. The pretty pink lip gloss we received looks just like one of mine, but it puts no color on the lips. I don’t have to worry about paint, chemicals or dyes touching Tati’s lips. I am very impressed by the cosmetic brush set that comes with this kit. They are high quality brushes that will be soft on your little girl’s skin.
